• J: Jasper parted his lips, then slowly broke the kiss as his eyes fluttered open and his face fell in disappointment. He hesitantly turned to look at Sam, then swallowed the lump in his throat as he saw the other man's eyes were empty - scarily so. Jasper briefly wondered if that was what he looked like most of the time. "Actually..." he said, dropped his arms into his own pockets as he side-stepped Sam. "...I'm not really hungry. Knock yourself out, though. I really don't really feel that good in general now that I think about it. Kinda sick. So I'll just be off then..." he paused for a moment to search Sam's eyes one more time, then wordlessly walked to the door. There was nothing left for him here.
  • D: Dexter watched Jasper leave with a confused look. He didn't want to step into their relationship, but he felt like something just went horribly wrong. He turned to look at Sam, and nervously moved his feet around. "Um...Sorry...I don't know why that happened." He said quietly, staring at Sam with huge, nervous eyes. He still felt like he was doing something wrong, so he kind of bent forward and tilted his head, like he was offering up his neck. He even smiled.
  • S: Sam stared after Jas for a moment, a strange twinge in his heart. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, trying his best to ignore it. It sort of reminded him of... regret? But that couldn't have been right, Sam didn't feel things like that anymore. It was better to pretend he didn't feel anything at all then try to figure it all out, so instead he turned to the human and did his best to smile. "Don't worry about it." he said quietly, taking a few steps towards him until he was standing in his personal space. "Just close your eyes... and soon it'll be over." he wrapped an arm around Dexter and leaned in close as if he was going to press his lips to his neck, but at the last moment he growled and sunk his fangs in. He made a happy sighing noise as he began to drink, but couldn't stop his thoughts from wandering to Jasper. Why had he left like that? Why had he kissed Dexter? Why did Sam feel like his heart had been stomped on? He didn't know why Jas was so set on Sam getting all emotional again, they seemed overrated to him.

  • J: Jasper nodded soundlessly, then took a step forward to match Sam's stance, slipping his hand into the back pocket of Sam's jeans as their hips knocked subtly together. "Mhm," he said, tilting his head to the side in curiously as he lightly brushed the thumb of his free hand over Dexter's lips. "He's cute." Jasper narrowed his eyes, then slipped his hand out of Sam's pocket to step closer to Dex, close enough that the boy couldn't have looked away even if he tried. "Really cute..." Jasper muttered, then throwing caution to the wind he met Dexter's lips in a kiss - one that wasn't necessarily...innocent in any sense of the word. It was sloppy and desperate, teeth clanking as Jasper stepped to the side, making sure that Sam could see everything that was going on. The way Jas's breath was halted and his hand had slowly slipped underneath the hem of Dexter's shirt. He was going to make his non-boyfriend feel something, goddammit. Even if it was pain.
  • D: A whirlwind of emotions flew through Dexter when he was almost forced into a kiss with Jasper. At first he was shocked and a little bit scared, his eyes wide. He wondered if it was some sort of vampire thing, and this was normal, but it felt far too....Odd to be normal. He didn't pull away, because he didn't want to make anyone mad. He wasn't actually complaining, either, Jasper was so gorgeous it hurt. Dexter was just worried about what was going on, and if he was hurting Sam's feelings. He didn't really know how Sam's emotions worked, but he was smart enough to realize that this had the potential to end badly. But it all happened far too quickly, and his stomach was clenching under Jasper's hand as a pathetic human whimper fell clumsily out of his mouth.
  • S: Sam tilted his head to the side slightly as he watched them, a small frown playing on his lips. He was confused more than anything, trying to figure out why Jasper was kissing the human. He tried to think about why a few seconds ago he had felt possessive about the other man just looking at his Jasper, but now he felt... nothing. He bit his lip as he took a step towards the two, crossing one arm over his chest. "Are you guys finished, or should I leave the room to give you some space?" he asked in a tone that probably should have sounded amused, but was more dull than anything. "Otherwise, I'd appreciate it if we could get to the biting."

  • J: Jasper had a plan, which, admittedly, was always incredibly dangerous. He was worried about Sam - worried to the point that he was willing to put his put his own personal feelings aside for the good of the man he loved. More than anything, he wanted to break the bond that the two of them shared, because Jasper could feel himself disintegrating; slowly crumbling bit by bit. He couldn't lie anymore, and Jasper knew that it was only a matter of time before he lost himself completely - he knew that if he broke down, emotions emptying out of his system and all capacity to care completely purged, that the same thing would happen to Sam; and no matter what, Jasper couldn't let that happen. He opened the door to the basement right as Sam's voice rang out through the dim lighting. "I am now," he said, suddenly appearing beside Sam and lightly kissed his cheek. "Hey, babe." He nodded towards Dexter. "Human."
  • D: Dexter felt like he should have been a lot more intimidated than he was. Sam and Jasper were inches away from him, staring. Well, Sam was. Jasper had pressed a kiss against his cheek, which Dexter actually found to be adorable. He almost expressed how cute he thought they were, but decided that he might get beaten up for something like that. So he shot a smile at Jas, giving him a tiny wave. "Hi, guys." He said quietly. His voice was high and soft compared to Sam and Jasper's, and it didn't help how powerless he felt around them.
  • Sam: Sam grinned the moment he saw Jasper, his arm moving around his waist as soon as he appeared by his side. He knew the possessiveness towards Jasper he felt whenever other people were around was kind of silly, but he couldn't help it. Especially after the dream he had last night, he had been a lot more on edge about other people being around him. Which he knew was strange, especially considering the fact that thinking about Jasper having sex with other people while he had been gone barely fazed him. He knew there was something wrong with him, but he'd ignore that as long as he could in order to stay relatively happy. Moving towards Dexter, he narrowed his eyes and grinned. "He looks good, right?" he asked Jasper without turning around, eyes fixed on Dexter's neck.

  • Dexter: Being in the cellar was incredibly boring. It made one..Well, bored. Not even the kind of bored where you don't have internet access or your cell phone is broken, but the kind of bored where you'd rather have someone bite into your neck and suck out your blood than be doing what you're doing. Which is why Dexter had practically volunteered for that to happen. He also really wanted to know what it was like. He was growing more curious by the second. It was strange, but everyone else talked about it but him. He almost felt like an outcast for not having experienced it. So, he was fine with it happening.
  •  Dexter waited patiently, sitting cross-legged on the cool ground and trying to keep himself awake. He hadn't realized he was so exhausted from doing a bunch of nothing. He considered going to sleep, but decided that it may not have been the best idea. Being awoken by a pair of teeth wedged in your neck didn't seem like a pleasant thing to endure.
  • Sam: To be perfectly honest, Sam was looking forward to this. It had been a little bit too long for his tastes since he'd had a meal that was completely willing and didn't require even the slightest bit of being compelled, so he was happy to have Dexter so quick to volunteer. This was made even better by the fact that he was going to be sharing with Jasper, which meant he was sure to have a good time. And there was no way Jasper would bring up the whole breaking of the bond thing up around other people, right? Sam was pretty sure they were safe for that night, so he was going to enjoy it. He strode into the basement with a bounce to his step, sitting down in front of Dexter without making a noise. "Hi," he said brightly, tilting his head as he tried to get a view of the boy's face. "Jasper not here yet?"

dexter-marshall:

Oh, my. Alright. He makes sort of nervous, but that’s okay. You should try not to kill me though, that’s my one concern.

We’ll do our best.

  • J: S'weird. See you soon.
  • S: If you say so. Love you.

  • J: I don't know if it's good or wildly unhealthy.
  • S: We've never had anything to fight over, I guess.

dexter-marshall:

That sounds great. I’ll just…Be here. Like I’ve been doing.

Just a heads up: I’m bringing Jasper. So one of us might have to give you some of our blood if we go a little… overboard.

  • J: You know...we've never fought before. That's weird. But yeah, sure. I'll meet you in the basement.
  • S: Isn't that a good thing..?

  • J: This isn't a discussion I'm having again, Sam. I told you, I've already made up my mind. Maybe if we could get you to feel something again, I'd consider letting it be.
  • S: We're not going to get anywhere talking about this right now, so I propose a change of subject. I was gonna go feed on the new kid, want to come?
